“Do you think they’d notice if we went back for rations? I think we’re running low.” She speaks low, the Infernal tongue rolling somewhat clumsily off her lips. It’s a habit she’s developed, speaking to Eldritch in his mother tongue to make him more comfortable with their ramshackle party. “I don’t think they would,” Megaera goes on, though her tone is kept light and observational, not bitter. “I don’t think they notice us much.”

...Autumn? Vera had never really considered Autumn a FEELING but she still somehow understood where Raphael was going with his assessment before he even explained himself. Though his explanation did help put her mind at ease. She grinned, finally setting down her paintbrush and stepping back to admire their handiwork. “Homey, I think,” she agreed, head tilted to observe the new colors from all angles. “Inviting. At least I hope.”
She turned her smile on her friend at his praise, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear and streaking paint across her cheek in the process. “Thanks, Raphael. I really appreciate an actual artist’s input. I’m...definitely NOT an artist. Luna will tell you, I repaint the bookstore a few times a year because I’m just never quite satisfied with it.” Hands on her hips she turned to glance at the wall once more. “...I think this color’s gonna stick around for a bit though.”

It took all of her willpower to keep from laughing at David’s clear embarrassment. She knew he wasn’t checking her out; that just wasn’t the type of guy he was. But teasing him and trying to get him to loosen up was just too much fun to pass up!
Giggling quietly, face aching with how much she was smiling, Luna pushed David’s actual glass closer to him, pausing to lay her hand gently on his. “Relax, Professor, I was just teasing! God, you are so ridiculously cute when you get all flustered, did you know that?”
“to the well-organised mind, death is but the next great adventure.” {ryker owens, the last agency boy on my list xD}
“And to a mind with logic, death is merely death. There is no adventure, no special plan,” Camden said with a shake of his head. “When you die, you are gone. There is nothing more or less to it than that.”
“I’m terrified looking up at the sky. It reminds me of how small I am.” {cian moss, another agency boy}
Camden nodded, glancing at the stars. “Yes, we are all very small individuals,” he agreed. “But we are also not alone, and that gives me hope.”
❝ I’m paid to make men believe what they want to believe. ❞ {emrys collins, one of my other alien agency boys}
Camden watched the human warily, chargers vibrating slightly, on high alert for movement from the being before him. “What is it they want to believe about me?” he asked. “How do you intend to deal with the evidence of my presence?” That is to say, how was this human planning to deal with him? Camden walked to the side, talons scraping and tapping the ground with each step. “I am not easily forgotten,” he warned.
"The point is you’re welcome, I guess." {from one of my alien exploration agency boys, Roman Harker}

“….I am grateful,” Camden said after a long moment, looking at the wreckage. The pod was entirely useless now, but this one, this human, had helped get him free of the crash. Taloned feet kneaded the ground beneath them as Camden looked back at the human. “What now?” he asked, curious about the human’s intentions.
