You had years to only like posts, and this upcoming year is NOT, I fucking repeat NOT ONE OF THEM. My names Delta or Baby (insert animal here! go wild!) I write a/b/o (omegaverse). But l've started World building on it. This post explains it.

I have more ranks then just the general Alpha, Beta and Omega. I've included Apex Alphas, Gammas and Deltas. (hence my name!)

A general summary; Apex Alphas are top dogs. They stand at the top of the food chain and are stupidly rare. They're more intense then an Alpha, also coming with more abilities. They are more territorial, more aggressive and more instinct driven. Depending on the Apex's upbringing depends on wether this is a positive or negative thing. It is the parents responsibility to channel their Apex's offsprings instincts in the right direction. Gammas stand beside Betas, as equals, but they're different in certain ways. Beta's are submissive, and Gammas are more dominate. Some people see Gamma's as the third highest in rankings, but also as unhinged people. Gamma's are the physical side of solving problems. They are peace-keepers like Beta's with their instincts. They see a problem, and fix it in a physical manner. Beta's step in and verbally talk things out, usually calling for a Gamma if assistance is needed. Deltas can differ depending on who you're talking to. Some see them as a category that doesn't fit into the hierarchy, some see them as the lowest of the low. Due to the fact that Delta's can shift between second genders. This can happen when the pup is faced with circumstances were their true second gender cannot support them. Or when they are abused. Sometimes it can be where genetics clash. All cases differ. Gamma's change their second gender depending on what their environments need. They fit into all needs when required. This also leads people to not realise that they are Deltas. Some Deltas hide in certain genders to avoid the tough times of being a Delta. In all, The hierarchy would look like this (Traditionally).

- Apex Alphas

- Alphas

- Gammas

- Betas

- Omegas

- Deltas (at the very very bottom.)

In a more modern version, it would look like this

- Apex Alphas (still top)

- Alphas

- Betas ~ Gammas (equals!)

- Omegas

And Deltas don't sit on it, as they are so rare and don't seem to have a place that the entire world can agree on. Apex not allowing Deltas to take their top spot, and Deltas finding it unfair to be placed at the bottom since they don't fit that standard.

Now, the Population percentage.

As you can see, Deltas are more rare then Apex. Usually Delta's are 0.02% of the population. So in a population of 1 Million, there would be 200 Deltas. Apex Alphas would take up 400 of the 1 million, sitting at 0.04%.

Omega's are the third rarest, then Alphas, and then Gamma's and Beta's are equal.

So I think I'm going to rush?

I've been researching the sororities at the college I'll be going to (LSU), and I think I want to try to get a bid and do Greek life. I'm a little nervous because I've never been a cheerleader or a dancer and I'm not exceptionally pretty, but I love the aspects of sisterhood and philanthropy.

January 29. It’s 8:30 AM and I’m currently in the srat house studying before class; I missed last week’s class bc of sorority recruitment. Yesterday was bid night!! Honestly it always looks like it’s gonna be super corny, and from the outside (aka new members) it usually is, but as a member on the other side I had so much fun and I hope they understood that we genuinely love showing them how much we love our sorority. Also I had a blast dancing to the afterparty music and I helped clean up with some sisters and blasted my own music. I’ve been trying to scout out who my future little might be (!!) and I think I have some good ideas! The shirts were cute, there was free food, and the theme was easy this year so no one felt left out :)

Otherwise, not much to update y’all on. I’m trying to deliver on my promise of posting more this semester but honestly I just have so much going on. Last week was the first week of classes and I’m already swamped. Not necessarily with work, because I’m taking super easy courses this semester, but with meeting people and getting meals and taking care of my dog and remembering to do homework that I’m not used to (fucking online assignments will be the death of me). At least I’m sane and happy! I really set myself up for happiness this semester. Not to jinx anything.
