You know what I really want, but is almost definitely never going to happen?
(And yes, this post is about to be the idealist ramblings of a teenager with very little grasp on things but shh, let me have fun)
An entirely irl MCC hosted in a big gaming arena. Think about it:
40 or so of the biggest Minecraft content creators all together in the same place
All of the teams playing together in the same room, divided into their teams like any other Esports event
All the CCs dressing up in their team colours or coordinating outfits together
An audience, which is not only brilliant for atmosphere and cheering their teams on, but would also look so fun as people would dress up in the colours of the team their rooting for and/or cosplay as their favourite CCs
Teammates being able to cheer each other on or hype them up in between games in person. Think like the Lilac Lanners but with considerably less scuffed microphones (they’ve been set up professionally in this fantasy. Unrealistic? I don’t care)
Once the winners have been crowned in game, they can be presented with their coins in person and hear the applause irl
Plus it’d be a really good way for the Minecraft community to all come together since Minecon isn’t an in-person event anymore
I can dream.
