Yall this thing started as a sketch I did while I was in the bath and took me 10 hours to finish. I'm so incredibly proud of it and now I get to ramble about the magic system!
So when I started this fic project, I knew I wanted to adapt the Minecraft magic system (along with the Vampires additions ofc) so that they could work in a more roundling setting. That required some thinking about how the beacons actually function and my own little flavorings to make the plot work the way I want it to and that eventually resulted in the concept of the Anchors.
Basically the Anchors are craftable magical items that make larger and/or delayed spells possible. The only one that's getting a feature is the beacons and they're taking the form of a spell called Rebreanu's Snare. That's getting it's own page at some point because it's that important lol.
I'm also going to be adapting the brewing ingredients but I'm not even close to being done with those yet. I'll update y'all when I get there lol
In terms of the lore I've written here, I think my favorite is the respawn anchor. That thing was super fun to try to adapt and I love the concept of the Eye of Fate. I may or may not make those the same as eyes of ender, I haven't quite decided yet.
