While I don't like his actions or his character, I honestly don't hate Mineta. I really don't approve of his actions because he has attempted to spy on the girls at least twice and he's groped Tsuyu Asui during the USJ attack when people's lives were in danger. But I don't hate Hime because there are worse characters in other animes that do the same thing but everyone still likes them.

Exactly. Everyone hates Mineta but I think it’s solely because of his design and importance for the story. 

Meliodas is one big perv, but he saves the world and he’s got a pretty neat-o character design so everyone has big heart eyes for him. 

It’s a big matter of consequentialism, and arguably altruism.

people who equate wanting mineta scrapped with bakugou needing to be scrapped as well are so fucking stupid. I don’t wanna be That Bitch, but bakugou is a main character and that means that we get to see him develop and grow over time. In fact, Bakugou probably gets the most amount of attention from Horikoshi (other than midoriya ofc) But Mineta?? literally all of his moments are cringey jokes about him sexually harassing every single person of the female gender he comes across. And he’ll most likely stay that way and his character doesn’t do anything at all to further the narrative. So scrap the bitch
