He pinches the bridge of his nose, the stench coming from the hallway was awful. He could hear footsteps coming from the hallway as he sighs, she was late again. Like usual, shaking his head he crossed his arms, playfully glaring at the female. 'Oh, Common Yan we said we'd be here by 1 pm, sharp. You're like an hour late or something....I almost dozed off." He pouts as he stares at her. "I could have used an extra hour of sleep--" joking he gives her a light smirk. "What took you so long, princess?"

He ran a hand through his hair, which he would never admit wasn’t washed for the last 2 days; not that he’d be asked, but the thought still popped up in his mind when his hand came out feeling weirder than it should have. Junha hid his hair under his backwards-sitting cap once again and tapped his fingers against the desk, trying to figure out how to explain the proper pitch to the girl he’d mindlessly asked to be his demo vocals in a song he was making. 

“Like.. like for the bridge,” he finally said, but soon stopped to scratch his head above the cap. There was no denying his frustration and he always tended to be harsher in the studio room than outside of it, but he knew it was his fault, not the girl’s. “You’re going too high, and it doesn’t fit the instrumental, like.. do you need to hear it again? Come out of here, we’ll listen to it again.” @mingyanx

“what’s this?” junjie asks, pointing at something on the menu. while his speaking skills in korean had greatly improved, the male still struggled with reading. the alphabet confused him, and he still found english and chinese easier. even now, as he speaks to the older girl, he reverts back to mandarin because it’s something he’s used to. but he wants to learn, so he asks. at least this way, he’ll learn. “how do you pronounce it?”

Krystal let out a dramatic sigh and tilted her head back as the woman spoke. “I do. I really, really do. Imagine if there was a job where you actually made money from spending money. The more you spent then the more you have in your bank.” With a cheeky grin she lowered her head and looked to her friend. “What did you end up buying anyway?”

huiliang gnawed on his lower lip at the question, sucking in his cheeks as he thought of an answer. he did, he really did, especially because between studying in america and moving to south korea to train meant that he really hadn’t been home for an extended period in a while.

“yeah.” he said, voice quiet, finally looking back up at yanyan. “i do, a lot...suzhou and seoul feel so much different, and it feels like i haven’t seen my family or anything for years. like don’t get me wrong, settling here has been fine, and i’m making friends and everything is going well! but sometimes, i just...” he trailed off, looking back down at the floor.
