”Hey, come on.” Minho says with an only vaguely shit-eating grin as he grips the youngers wrist and pulls him towards him. It was late and Minho had maybe more than a couple of drinks in him but he was having fun. It was nice to have everyone together for a night even if they’d all squished into Soohan’s admittedly small apartment and Minho wasn’t exactly enjoying whatever music someone was playing into the room. But it was nice. Though Zero had been complaining about being cramped between Soohan and Atticus for the past fifteen minutes and Minho was getting sick of it. Deciding to just keep tugging on the youngers wrist until he had him up and next to him. Leaning back in his chair and patting his thigh. “Best seat in the house, Darling.”

Really Minho had never seen a future where he would be so awkward in his own home yet here he was. Fiddling with his sleeves and bouncing foot to foot outside of the bedroom he’d given Zero as if he was about to get the worst lecture of his life. Which he might. Teeth sinking into his lip when he finally opens the door and tries to control the power he is meant to hold. Civilizations would get to their knees for him and yet here he was fighting back stumbling over himself for Zero. “I was wondering if you’d want to have dinner. With me. Instead of alone...if you want.” @carpcnvctcm​

Minho knows that every word out of Zero is right, rational. It’s Minho being stupid, being selfish and prideful. Can’t accept that he’s in the wrong and would actually do something so much for his own self-benefit that it could harm Zero. Before any of this it wouldn’t have mattered, Minho did what he wanted when he wanted to without a care in the world for another soul. It wasn’t like that anymore though and even if he had convinced himself that he could still play in that world with no repercussions it was false. Facing that fact is not easy for him in the least though. Instead, he just sticks his heels into the mud even more. “Fine! I had no plan on telling you. There. I didn’t think it had anything to do with you. If something went bad I would have, if I felt anything was going bad I would but I didn’t so you never were going to find out. Because I know this shit and my family and everything and I know when it’s going to fall down on me. But it isn’t so I never thought it was a big deal.” How Zero gets quieter scares him. Not because he thinks Zero is about to lash back even worse but instead because he knows that he’s hurt him. The waver in Zero’s voice is because of him. Everything is his fault and the guilt and anger swirling in his gut is helping nothing. Only made worse when he sees the other move to leave and doesn’t know how to react. The anger hasn’t stopped, he still wants to shout and scream, but not for Zero to go. Not when they’re leaving it all like this.  “Zero? Zero! Don’t fucking go. Look- fuck, just don’t go, okay?”
