a glimpse inside minhyun's phone
minhyun isn't exactly chronically offline or online, he has a pretty balanced view on using his phone and doesn't really limit himself. he uses it on the daily and for a lot of things.
he has a rather beat up iphone 16 in black titanium, with no case, cover or whatsoever. the screen is also cracked from him throwing it around and the corners are very visibly dented.
his lock screen is a picture of his cat dori from when he finally moved into his flat in seoul with her
his homescreen is some random blue aura picture he found online.
what’s your muses screen time like, and how do they feel about it?
he has a very random screen time, it depends on what he is doing and where he is at. it has gotten down over the years, at the start of uni he would rack up roughly 8-10h a day (impressive i know) but nowadays, he had an average of 4ish. depending on his schedule it changes, and he has never really been bothered about it. he didnt even care what his screen time was until apple started notifying him every week.
if they had to delete all but one app, which one would survive?
probably youtube. he watches a lot of videos and listens to music there as well, so that one would most definitely survive.
how does your muse decide what/what not to post on social media?
minhyun doesn't care really. he does try and curate his instagram feed a bit, making sure at least the first picture of every photo dump aligns with whatever aesthetic he has build, but other than that he posts anything. he is an avid user of instagram stories more than posts.
how do they choose to express themselves online in spaces that are curated and where they know they will be perceived?
he does stream a fair bit on soop (formerly afreecatv) and twitch, so he is very much himself on those platforms. he isn't really worried about his image, or how he will be perceived because really.. he is there to have fun and maybe make some cool plays, and despite having changed his content over the years, his personality and views have still stayed the same even if the genre of games and subsequently his audience has changed.
what was the last thing they took a screenshot on their phone?
his last screenshot is of some disagreement in the family groupchat to send to his older brother and ask him if his parents are being serious.
what time of day are they most active online?
before getting out of bed in the morning and before going to sleep is when he uses his phone the most.
what do they keep in the “hidden” folder?
there isn’t anything in his hidden folders. his pictures are all on display in his photos and there is no apps he is hiding.
others;
he has very few people saved in his phone, usually consists of like their firstname, sometimes an emoji that he associates with them (eg. garam 🍜, agatha 📷 or lucas ⁉️) he has a handful of saved numbers in his phonebook, neither of his parents' phones are saved, but he knows the numbers off by heart at this point.
he isn’t huge on taking pictures
has a lot of stupid little games on his phone that he is either currently obsessed or forgotten about. currently he is playing mainly afk journey.
majority of his pictures on his phone are of dori and parties or events he has been to. very few pictures of him really.
