Notes: I wish they made big versions of these that I could live in:( A house made of slightly-transparent plastic actually sounds so cool, especially during the Summertime!

Finally getting to repaint my bathroom! I've been looking forward to this for about a year and a half now. Don't know what it says about me that I'm 23 and excited to give my bathroom a fresh coat of paint.
My grandfather did a shoddy job on it when my parents got this place, but that's fine because my parents were planning to give it a good repainting within five years anyway. It would be 14 years this summer, and I'm finally getting around to doing that paint job a decade late. The light green walls are going to be teal, and the painted and stained trim (the door was painted, around the window and tub were stained--that's before we got the place, nothing was done with anything except the walls) will all be painted white. Plus the ceiling will still be white. It's getting a fresh coat anyway because there are some old mould stains that need to be covered up.
This is from about 2:30 this morning before I sanded the second layer of fill over the old holes in the wall. The tank was off the toilet to be cleaned and has been cleaned behind, but I still had to take the doors off the vanity and get the shower curtain out of the way.
It's now 7pm, and the first layer of primer is drying.
I was hoping to be able to get both layers on tonight, but the lightbulbs have been removed and I won't be able to see in two hours. Though I might check in half an hour or so and see how it's coming along--the primer can says it takes two hours to dry, and I didn't set the timer until after I put the frame together for the medicine cabinet and got the primer on it (I had to buy the wrong colour to get it in time, but it's not like I had to get extra paint or primer, so I'll gladly repaint the outside of an Ikea medicine cabinet).
If I can get the second layer of primer done tonight then I can start on the walls tomorrow morning, and hopefully get the ceiling and trim done that evening. This means I should have this project finished by Wednesday, and most of that is waiting for the paint to dry.
Don't worry, I'll reblog with an after picture or two once everything is finished and put back in place. I'm definitely excited to see the results, here's to hoping I don't screw up my first paint job too much.
