WiP - Clothes for young Past!Lavi (Lavy) & Face up

As I got the majority of pieces done the day prior I knew this sunday would be me finishing Lavi. I had the wig finished in the morning (as said in the wig wip post I did some things at the same time) so little bits and face up were left.

One of the missing details was the little bag and the belt it is attached on. Somehow I really like making bags... this is still scrap fabric. You can close and open the bag :)

For the cape...

i had a problem. I was sure I had enough brown for it. But turned out no I had brown yes, but only very long pieces nothing fitting for the size I needed.

So... I bit the bullet and made the cape shorter than originally intended. In the two panels we have from the Flashback with Bookman we see Lavi wearing a shorter cape, so... it's a short one now. Luckily a cape is not much effort so should it turn out I don't like it over time I can remake it.

A detail that was bothering me a bit too was that the clasps I made for Bookman sr, older Lavi and bby Lavi were kinda sticky. I decided to change that and apply gold to make them prettier.

Face up left!

The progress for the face up was fast, as there isn't many details I had to add, no texture.

We still lack the information what the "Bookman Mark" is, for now I will try to cover the eye in photos somehow and add/mod the mark later on when we know more.

After the linework only gloss was left.

And here he is <3 still in need of better eyes, these were the only one that fit him. Also fingers crossed for his boots arriving soon.

But of course I couldn't resist to take some photos. I was especially curious how he looks like with Bookman sr.
