small rant with no tags rq, absolutely going insane over the fact that every single welcome home fanfic EVER has to have at least ONE romantic pairing. WHY. Why can't I just read some fic about HORROR and EXISTENTIAL DEREALIZATION without a ship getting inserted into the middle of it? I don't even care what ship it is. I don't care if it's a ship I like. I just want a completely platonic fucking fanfiction. I just want a fic that focuses on the horror and doesn't mention two puppets suckin faces on the side PLEASE please I just need something that'll nourish my need to take advantage of the good fucking FOOD the March 9th update gave us. Why won't anyone write about it? I get it, shipping is fun! Who doesn't do it? But I'm fucking tired. I'm so tired. I just want to read something that doesn't have a dumbass x reader plotline with a FUCKING puppet. Gah. Why is everything romantic. Why. I just want a good horror fic. I just want to see Eddie be traumatized by what he witnessed without the author smashing some Eddie/frank shit in the middle. Dear lord. It happens in every fandom too but at least they have the decency to have at least 2 pages of fics with the No Romantic Pairing(s). I do that for WH? ONE FUCKING FANFICTION. and if by some miracle there's something good on tumblr god forbid anyone can see it. The tagging system here is awful especially if trying to look for two things at once. dear fucking lord I need to sleep. gn.
