Galaxy Ornaments

I am a huge fan of Kate Lilley (Minieco). Her paper crafts are simple, bright, and so thought out. Follow her!

The idea for these ornaments came from printing her template of the icosahedron on one side of letter size paper and feeding the paper back into my printer, opposite side, and printing galaxy photos I found online. I googled the word "galaxy" and looked through the image search. I've provided the links below.

I've been seeing a huge trend of galaxy, nebula, space, constellation, zodiac themes for clothing, gifts, and events. Why not paper ornaments too?

As a side note, I think the galaxy theme might be on it's way out (too much of a good thing...). I did see a huge peak during the holiday season as gift ideas. I attended the Brooklyn Bazaar (an indoor night market), who used the celestial theme for their collateral materials online. Here are some random things I found online with the same theme.
