The miniature in a saturated look, to fit with the modern times.
The new London production seems to have gone full out with the more saturated times we live in.
I love the more dark and misterious look but hey, it’s a nice picture.
Update of Minihermajesty’s!
After the original production of The Phantom of the opera closing at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London, and me having to much time on my hands due to the Covid-19 situation I have started building on my model again.
Since it is the new tour that will move into the theatre when the production opens again, I felt like a tribute to the original production in detail is in order.
Miniature of the Opera has also joined instagram! For updates, modelmaking pictures, and new pictures of the different scenes please follow:

The last mock-opera in the show with two painted drops that are very dark in color and dimly lit. When I started out building the model years ago there were no pictures to be found. Nowadays you can find pictures but usually they are quite dark so the second drop is often not visible.
