I uh.. know we don’t talk much… Like ever- but… any tips on how to catch a bunch of aphids that didn’t die when you blew up the jar they were in..?

…this may or may not be crucial for the environment…I’m outta ladybugs to kill them with..

"You are in luck, however. There are a colony of lacewings in the garden. Depending on how many aphids you released, they may be enough. If not, well.. good luck to you, I suppose."

In a quiet London drawing room, a table is set. Pastries and tea are neatly arranged in the middle, as the sun slowly filters itself through the curtains. Someone is sitting, waiting for you to join their company.

With a smile, they turn to you, placing down their cup of tea.

"Hello! How may I help you?"

This is set in the universe of *'The Glass Scientists' but we play fast and loose with canon here. It will mostly be canon-divergent, or at the very least, canon-adjacent.

For my dear OC, Peppermint! Call them Mint for short! They're a Filippino sociologist, and they're currently stowing away.. somewhere?

"I have seen the hat man, but what's.. Benadryl? I'm assuming it's something not meant to be consumed in high dosages."

They're vaguely concerned, but they don't elaborate.

AH! Hello hello! I don't think we've talked before! I'm Agnes, it's nice to meetcha!

So, um, why are ya called Peppermint? Is it a nickname or something?

"Agnes, it's nice to finally talk to you. I have seen you around the society, but we've never had a chance to chat"

"As for why I am called Peppermint; it's a name I chose for myself. If you wish to call me by a nickname, it would be Mint."

They smile, more relaxed than before.
