Dodge-Ow!-Adrienette Fanfic

On a warm and breezy day, the class played dodgeball. A few were excited, some were scared. Others like Marinette had other things in mind. "Please let me be with Adrien, please let me be with Adrien." Marinette prayed next to her best friend. She saw her crush approaching her. "Hey, Marinette, Alya." Marinette made a goofy smile as Alya said hi back to the blonde.
"I know this is sudden but... how do you play dodgeball?" Marinette and Alya looked at each other, both upset. He was closed off all his life with only Chloe as his friend. Of course he wouldn't know. Nino came up to him, putting his arm on his shoulder. "It's a game where two teams try to throw balls at each other while avoiding being hit themselves." Nino explained. Adrien thought about it for a second. He kept asking Nino about it, but their conversation was cut short.
Mr Armand shouted. "Alright! Stand in one row!" The class obeyed. He walked around, deciding on two team leaders. He pointed at Ivan and Kim. "You two! You'll be the leaders of your teams. Choose wisely."
The two stepped up. They played a round of rock, paper, scissors to see who will choose first. Kim won and was choosing first. "I choose... Alix!" Kim said. After thinking through, Ivan chose his girlfriend. Mylene gave him a hug from the side. After a while, the teams were set: Kim chose Alix, Chloe, Marinette, Nino, Juleka and Max. Ivan chose Mylene, Alya, Adrien, Nathaniel, Sabrina and Rose.
Marinette was a bit upset for not being with Adrien. Then again, it would be cool to show off just how great she is at dodgeball.
The ball was handed to Nathaniel. He threw the ball meekly at Nino, but he dodged it. Alix took the ball and hit Nathaniel on his stomach. Luckily, her monstrous strength didn't hurt him much. Sabrina took the ball and barely threw it on the other side. She was kicked out once Marinette hit her, it almost bumped Alya as well.
The game went on and on until, finally, only Adrien and Marinette were standing. After being secret superheroes for so long, they were able to avoid every attack each of them threw at the other. Adrien threw the ball, aiming at her stomach. Marinette dodged it from the side, almost falling. She made a bridge which made Adrien snicker a bit. Marinette then threw the ball, but Adrien dodged by jumping over it. He then aimed at her shoulder. She avoided the ball by jumping on the other side.
The classmates were amazed and baffled, especially Alya. Who would've thought that Marinette had the guts to try and hit Adrien? Soon, she got her answer. Marinette was competitive so much she hit Adrien-IN HIS FACE!! Marinette and the rest quickly ran toward him. Mr Armand took the first aid kit and put a bag of ice on his nose, where the ball hit him the strongest.
Adrien was escorted to the doctor's office. After he got out, Marinette kept apologizing to him. Adrien put a hand on her shoulder. "Marinette, it's okay. It doesn't hurt much anymore. Don't worry about it." The girl looked into her crush's eyes and understood just how lucky she is to know him.
