Welp, I finally went and dun it...

I actually completed the first draft of a short story. It's only 784 words, but it wasn't meant to be a novel - it actually began as a stream-of-consciousness exercise.

This is the first story I have completed, in thirty years!

Now to put it away for a couple of weeks, then try and smooth out the rough spots.
