I'm tempted to not observe lent this year

I'm tempted to not observe lent this year
Because the grudges I hold against the people who hurt me will never go away.
Confession
Working at my current job has made me a misanthrope. It has made me trust people and dislike people a lot more now. I guess that what evil does to me. It sucks on my psyche until I get to the point where I become the evil one, undeserving of any grace or love. How can I stay a Christian when I am faced with this reality is beyond me because loving my neighbor has become a burden. Heaven may not even be an option for me.
Today was fucking terrible.
