Im not done with kids of appetite yet but I'm really liking this book. It's a found family sort of book and it's a rollercoaster like every David Arnold book. Recommend this and mosquitoland if you haven't read it yet

(for the book recs, if you're still taking them) not sure if this has been said already, but if you're into faeries i'd recommend the folk of the air trilogy by holly black. the characters and the world are both very interesting and complex, and the heroine is pretty different from any YA heroine i've read before. i personally also adore her writing style.
