misceverse but like in a bird way, yknow?

not going in heat and having pups and scenting

but courtship rituals. gifts and songs. building a nest for my mate. showing off bright colors. displaying my wings. dancing together.

i guess i would be considered the bird equivalent of an alpha?

i'm not super dominant and aggressive. but i have instincts and feelings that line up with traditionally male bird behavior.

Sooo..collectively we (‘the system) are a birdkin and so we already get bird feelings and stuff (‘wanting to preen, sit on round things like eggs, get protective over hatchlings, etc.) But this years is our first year for spring as a birdkin…and we already feel the lil nesting prickles being more antsy >:p

So do u do anything in particular if I also experience this? As a first-season birdkin we collectively in the system are kinda nervous if we get “‘antsy”.. sooo any tips? (if experience this)

Honestly my biggest tip would be to build a nest.

Take pillows/large stuffed animals and make a semi circular ring around yourself in your bed.

Lay soft blankets and quilts around in your nest

Spray a favorite scent/perfume/cologne around your space

Bring smaller stuffies into your nest to act as your hatchlings.

as a nonverbal/nonspeaking/mute/whatever dog, misce actually fucks severely hard becuase because becauseeeeee i don’t have to use words to communicate!!! purring growling chirping whatever !!! its easier on my brain than trying to speak or use AAC and it’s Fun !!!
