Not really feeling the kiss at first, he gave in as it lingered. "Switch with me?" He was the one to break it, but used the soap as an excuse. Already pushing past him, Chino closed his eyes as he tried to relax in the water.

Matt let him pass without a word, shaking out his hair before stepping out the shower. Thoughts circled around in his skull not sure how to make the situation better again. Maybe he could answer some questions? He slipped into a clean pair of underwear and hung a towel around his neck to prevent the water from his hair to run everywhere.

"Just forget, okay?" Giving up for the moment, he didn't want to fight with the other. Chino didn't find it this hard to have an emotional connection with others, but maybe that was the draw to Matt. Soaping up himself, he remained pretty quiet the rest of the shower.

His heart slightly dropped to his stomach, feeling a bit guilty about his aloof attitude. Although, he couldn’t bring himself to apologize for or even bring it to attention. Matt could settle for pressing his lips against Chino’s for a long kiss.

Matt's reaction just made him more curious. "And you always say stuff like that!" The real world? Soaping up Matt's chest, Chino started washing his body. "You know that's not what I meant." Not wanting to mention Wammys again, but it was stuff like that made him more interested.

“Say stuff like what?” When in doubt play dumb. After Chino had so graciously soaped him up Matt stepped under the spray, closing his eyes as he rinsed off his body. “Then explain what you meant.”

He frowned slightly, "Why are you so guarded?" Maybe it was just how innocent and new to the game he was, Chino also had a pretty cushy life. "Just let me in a little."

He couldn’t help but laugh, if at all cope with the situation. “Guarded? Guess people from the real world would consider it that way.” Matt patted his head then finished washing his own hair. “We are showering together you know? Harder to get closer than that.”

"It's very annoying." He chuckled as he spun Matt back around to rinse his hair out. "Seriously though, give me something." Kissing him once the shampoo was out, he touched his forehead to Matt's.

“And what exactly would you want from me?” Of course he was curious how much the kid was willing to invest in him but that would require something from him. That, he wasn’t too keen on.

Sighing once more, "Shut up and turn around." He put some shampoo in his hands before running them through Matt's hair. In Chino's mind he was already starting to take care of Matt, like with cooking and cleaning for him. "Did you ever have your heart broken?" Word vomit was the thing of today, he supposed. Maybe that was the reason why Matt wouldn't get close to him just yet.

He followed his direction if only to humor him for the moment, plus he loved his hair messed with. “You’re just filled with all kinds of thoughts today aren’t you brat? Firstly, got to have a heart to have it broken and I don’t take anything too seriously.” Matt wasn’t ever prone to hoping for anything, silent acceptance was more his style.

He pouted as Matt laughed at him. "I just want to take care of you." Shit, he couldn't stop it from leaving his mouth. But it's what he's been thinking about non stop. Matt was alone all the time, even when he was with M they were always fighting. And Matt was still a mystery to him, the gamer only let him in to a sliver of his life.

“You want to take care of me?” The phrase itself sounded ridiculous and laughable. “Maybe if you were ten years older and had some kind of stability, although I really don’t find myself needing or wanting a caretaker.”

Mumbling incoherently to himself, the kid stripped and got in. of course he was holding his junk, and stood awkwardly behind Matt. "Thanks." There was a deep blush on his face, which he eventually hid in Matt's neck as he wrapped his arms around him. However only his chest touched Matt during this embrace, he was mess.

Matt couldn’t stop the laugh bubbling up in his chest. The kid was just too much, too cute and so innocent despite his circumstances. His hands ran along Chino’s arms before turning around. “You seem a little nervous.”
