As the stranger declined the offer to play, Asli felt herself calm down some knowing that she hadn't been inadvertently monopolizing the instrument. She tilted her head to the side in amusement at his comment, however. "You're tone deaf? Truly? Or by your own opinion? I mean, you did end up showing up over here by some coincidence so you can't be completely ignorant of music." Asli took a moment to study the man. He was certainly dressed nice, and she knew there was a gathering of some sort not far away from where she was playing the piano, so she assumed that's where he had wandered from.
"What do you mean by am I some Mozart type?" Asli asked curiously, her expression full of amusement as she smiled up at him. "If you're asking me if I'm a talented musician that people would recognize if they were cultured, or familiar with classical music..." She shrugged slightly. Of course, this man wouldn't know if she were downplaying her talents. She was a world renown classical pianist, and frequently played with the best orchestras and philharmonics around the world. That was why she was here, after all. She didn't see the point in bragging about that, however.
