Fic Rec: "Make You Feel My Love" and "This is Music, This is Madness" by Miss Begonia

Title: Make You Feel My Love and its sequel This is Music, This is Madness Author: Miss Begonia Rating: NC-17 Genre: Urban Fantasy, Romance Warnings: Magical creatures, namely faeries; implied mind manipulation and possible (but very brief) issues of consent. Author's Summary: Faerie!Klaine AU. Kurt is working as a waiter in a cocktail bar. Blaine, a stockbroker, is about to get picked up, shaken up and turned around.

My Summary: These two fics are, quite honestly, some of the most beautiful, melancholy, satisfying, utterly captivating stories in all of Klaine fandom. Although it tries to keep the supernatural element a surprise, I personally find that having it as a twist tends to shock people away. So I'm going to tell you straight up that this fic is urban fantasy, that the supernatural element is handled incredibly well, and that it is without a doubt one of the most gorgeously heartwrenching and beautiful Kurt/Blaine stories I have ever encountered.

The plot is original, the characterization is gorgeous, and my feelings. The author uses language in such a masterful way that it quite literally makes me ache inside. It makes me shiver. The way she wraps her words around these characters is just so stunning, so moving, and so remarkably wistful that whenever I read it I can barely breathe the entire way through. 'Make You Feel My Love' and 'This is Music, This is Madness' both ignite my senses, and that's not something I say often.

I have recommended this fic probably upwards of half a dozen times on my own blog, but I felt as though it was time to properly explain just why it's such an incredible read. Just go, read it, and keep reading to the end. I promise you won't regret it.
