fuck me. i totally forgot about a mandatory (the word was bolded and underlined in the email) 2.5hr training session i had registered for this morning. i don’t know what to do about it. there were only two options for this session--the other was last week. so it’s not like i can show up to the other time slot to make up for it. god.
i tweeted last week about how difficult the transition has been in terms of setting up a routine and keeping appointments, and this just goes to show that i have some more adjustments to make. trying to get some readings done tonight but i will probably write a proper update later.
An in-home aide in North Carolina can assist with grooming, bathing, and dressing while respecting personal dignity and independence.
Caring for an aging or recovering loved one can be challenging, especially when daily tasks become overwhelming. Recognizing the need for assistance early can ensure their safety and well-being. Here are key signs that home care services may be necessary.
Did you ever wake up & realize you had an
appointment to make, and you missed it.
You overslept.
Or maybe you’ve missed appointments without
sleeping, but by getting distracted in something else.
There were many people in the GOSPEL account
who also missed their appointment
–their appointment with MESSIAH.
Some because they were too busy in other pursuits.
Others, because they said,
“Not now… later…” HE was calling them.
That was the time of their appointment.
Luke 14:15-24 | Parable of the Great Banquet
When one of those reclining with HIM heard
this, he said to JESUS,
“Blessed is everyone who will eat at the feast
in the kingdom of GOD.” But JESUS replied,
“A certain MAN prepared a great banquet &
invited many guests. When it was time for
the banquet, HE sent HIS servant to tell those
who had been invited,
‘Come, for everything is now ready.’
But one after another they all began
to make excuses. The first one said,
‘I have bought a field & I need to go see it.
Please excuse me.’ Another said,
‘I have bought five yoke of oxen & I am
going to try them out. Please excuse me.’
Still another said,
‘I have married a wife, so I cannot come.’
The servant returned & reported all this to
his MASTER. Then the OWNER of the
House became angry & said to HIS servant,
‘Go out quickly into the streets & alleys of
the city, & bring in the poor, the crippled,
the blind, & the lame.’
Sir,’ the servant replied, ‘what YOU ordered
has been done, and there is still room.’
So the MASTER told HIS servant,
‘Go out to the highways & hedges & compel
them to come in, so that MY House will be full.
For I tell you, not one of those men who were
invited will taste my banquet.’”
And for one reason or another – they missed it.
In the same way, the LORD calls you…
not just once, but every single day.
Every day there is a call from GOD,
a perfect will, a mission, an appointment.
But most of those appointments go unmet…
because most believers are too caught up in
other things, distractions, pursuits, or telling GOD
“Later… tomorrow….” Is that you?
Do you know that GOD has made
an appointment with you for joy?
An appointment with victory?
An appointment with breakthrough?
They’re all waiting….
Even today.
Don’t let the chance be wasted.
Answer the call: Do the will of GOD.
For you have an appointment today with
blessing… & it’s too important to miss.
Revelation 19:6-9 | And I heard a sound like
the roar of a great multitude, like the rushing
of many waters, & like a mighty rumbling of
thunder, crying out: “Hallelujah!
For our LORD GOD, the Almighty, reigns.
Let us rejoice & be glad & give HIM the glory.
For the marriage of the LAMB has come, and
HIS bride has made herself ready. She was
given clothing of fine linen, bright & pure.”
For the fine linen she wears is
the righteous acts of the saints.
Then the angel told me to write,
“Blessed are those who are invited to the
marriage supper of the LAMB.”
And he said to me,
“These are the true words of GOD.”
From Message #1229 - A Time To Rise
Seek GOD's appointment today.
Seek to hear & walk in HIS appointed will for this day.
And in every situation, seek what it is that
GOD has appointed for that moment.
SCRIPTURE:
John 15:16 | You did not choose ME,
but I chose you. And I appointed you
to go & bear fruit—fruit that will
remain—so whatever you ask the
FATHER in MY Name, HE will give you.
Psalm 23:3 | HE restores my soul;
HE guides me in the paths of
righteousness for the sake of
HIS Name.
I know and understand that you don't do urgent or time sensitive asks anymore, but please please please help as soon as you can!. I'm,going to call my therapist to make an appointment but im afraid too because i'm scared they are going to be mad. Since I went to only one session and then skipped the next two sessions and just quit going. Won't they be mad? I'm getting really bad. This is my only alone time so I have to do it now, but I'm so afraid. thanks for everything. you all are wonderful!!
Hello dear,Trust me, your therapist will not be mad. They are trained to treat all sorts of mentally ill people, and mentally ill people (particularly people with social anxiety) can sometimes have a tendency to be late/skip appointments. As someone who misses probably every third appointment with every therapist I've ever had, none of them have ever been mad at me. I once had a therapist who regularly scheduled a girl who literally never showed up to any appointment. I asked her why they would keep scheduling her, and my therapist said that that's just what happens sometimes in therapy, and that she was okay with it. So I can promise you that your therapist has probably had hundreds of no-shows, and if he/she got mad at every one then he/she would probably have to quit. Your therapist won't be mad. Go ahead and schedule your appointment, and good luck dear.Love and ferrets, Elizabeth
Fuck! Just woke up an realised I had a dentist appointment 2 hours ago! :/. The dental system here is such a pain in the arse. You have to wait a month for an appointment and if you miss one or two they can stop you ever going back!
