How much warning time would the US/Russia have of a nuclear missile launch against said country?
How much warning time would the US/Russia have of a nuclear missile launch against said country?
I'm not looking for "we're all going to die anyway, so it doesn't matter" but instead for an actual timeline.
How much warning time would each country have if the other just decided to launch missiles? What if it was China? France or the UK?
Might be Cuban Missile Crisis style with fear in the air, might be a surprise attack, but if how much time between the actual launch and impact? Or between preparations that would be noticed and impact?
Also, how would the public in each of these countries be notified?
