ummm i used to suck my thumb when i was but a child, @aleksandrachaev used to wear braces (which, frankly, makes her more of a loser then me), and I got a 105 on the science quiz I did not study for, in a class I hardly pay attention to.

It's only after Michael leaves (wobbling just barely on her heels) that Keyla nudges Joann, earning the pilot a curious look. "Did you lend Michael your boots?" She'd recognize the heel anywhere -- not every pair of boots had a significant chunk taken out of the left heel due to a particularly sharp rock on New Eden. (Keyla also had not scribbled 'Property of Keyla Detmer' on the sole of the right just for kicks. She hadn't. It was entertaining how no one had noticed yet, though.)

They're also the only pair that give Joann an extra inch and a half in height: conveniently the amount that Michael would've also needed in order to be taller than Georgiou. Which meant...

Keyla raises an eyebrow, and Joann looks away, pressing her lips together. "...you tower sometimes, okay?"
