He looked around. The land seems to be dry, and no one was to be seen. He lifted his feet forward, an action done harder than normal. He was lost. Not only is he confused to where he is, he has no memory of his past. He can't even remember his own name...
No... he does have a memory. Not much but enough. A second ago, he was standing by the door to his classroom, ready to be punished for being late again. He was closing his eyes, taking a breath, preparing himself. Then when he opened them he was here, in this desert. His school uniform was also mysteriously replaced by an attire fit for vikings...
Or other 13th century men. He's not sure what timeline his clothes would fit for.
Leather shoes, linen shirt and pants. His hand was also empty as it should had carried a grey bag filled with his school supplies.
Oh, his teacher would scold him for being absent. His parents too. He could only imagine what they would do when they found out that he had skipped school and is stuck in a desert consisting sand and just sand. They would probably punish him for being irresponsible and daydreaming on his way to school. That he lost his way and ended up in heaps of sand with different clothes and lost his school bag somehow.
Now... what was his name again?
Right, he couldn't remember that part.
The sun was blazing and high, making him sweat. It was too hot to stay outside. He could get burnt if he didn't find shelter. He took a step forward. It was weird enough that he couldn't remember his name. It was weirder that the simple action of walking was unfamiliar to him. It was like he was learning how to walk all over again.
After a few steps he realized that he didn't have to learn walking again. His feet was probably a little paralyzed with the situation and refused to cooperate. But he's fine now. He could walk normally, as normal as a human could.
He felt like he was walking for hours, but nothing except sand was on his sight. He was starting to get thirsty, and hungry. The sun was getting higher and hotter, showing no mercy to those under its light.
He didn't just suddenly came to this place.
There was a dark screen showing words he couldn't remember. And a sequence of images, like a movie. There was a palace and people, and this bad guy who tried to take the throne. Like an introduction. It felt like his eyes was the screen and it was showing something to him. Showing the situation to him. And then there were those words. They told him to select something, a clan. There were six of them. He chose the first one. Arcadia. And then he had to fill in something...
He had to fill in his name, but not really his name. He could choose any name he wants. Now what was it...?
