Unbind me
((Okay I’m sick and have a headache and my head’ all fuzzy, so this might not be too good haha. Also, sorry if I take long with responses, I’m working on something for my mom, so I might be slow).
Sirius sneaks in through the doors, praying that the poly juice potion works. The glare fixed on his face wasn’t entirely for the disguise.
Earlier that night he had “interrogated” Regulus, trying to figure out where they had taken Lily. James was a complete wreck and Sirius knew that he had to confront his brother in order help save Lily. Remus had offered to help, but it had been too close to the full moon and Sirius couldn’t take any risks. He also hadn’t wanted Remus to get hurt.
After finally getting the location to Lily’s whereabouts, Sirius had stolen some of Regulus’s hair and a batch of Polyjuice potion. He then went to the headquarters and snuck into the basement, looking around in the dark.
He blinked a few times, his eyes adjusting, and then slowly made his way down the dank place. He heard a few moans from in the corner and squinted, seeing a form. His eyes widen and he takes a sharp intake of breath, cursing under his breath quietly.
Rushing over to Lily, he quickly unlocks the chains binding her arms to the wall, catching her as she falls. “It’s all right Evans, I’ve got you” He says quietly, trying to hide the panic in his voice. She trembles violently and looks up at him, half dazed. “S-Sirius?” He looks at her face, swollen from bruises and cuts, her hair bloody and matted in spots. “Shh, it’ll be okay, promise.” He can hear movement on the stairs outside and gently knocks her out with a curse, hoisting her up over his shoulder, cursing again as three death eaters storm through the door. The polyjuice potion is running out. He blasts curse after curse at them, anger and hatred rising up in his chest as well as panic. Guarding Lily as best as he can, he darts quickly out of the room, throwing curses over his shoulder. Hearing the death eaters thud to the ground, knocked out, he quickly gets out of the building, praying that no more show up. He sprints down the street to where he parked his motorcycle and secures Lily to it with a spell before jumping on and speeding away back to the Order’s headquarters, shouting condolences at her, despite her being unconscious, tears of fear and anger in his eyes, his voice breaking. “Just hang on Evans, we’re almost there! You’ll be fine! Just hang in there! Stay with me!”
