How she was

She was brave, at least on paper.

She flew high, higher than she could, just for the pleasure to imagine it.

She had a great imagination and a great security too.

She didn't need anyone, though she had people around to lean on.

She was pure. Raw. A free spirit no one could reach for.

And she was positive, she had enthusiasm and curiosity. She was ready to live, ready to learn, ready to grow. No complaints, only hope and serenity.

She was serene. And the rest noticed that.

Now she is only serene for them, but not for her. And she hopes to embrace her serenity again also in her life. But most of all she hopes not to lose it entirely.

She hopes to embrace herself again. She hopes to learn from that kid again. She needs to trust her again. She needs her more than ever.
