"Some asshole tried to mug me today, but that's besides the point," she said pulling out a violin case from behind her. "He said you might be able to help him with the bridge of his violin? He's been having to fix his organ as of late and said he'd trust you with his Stradivarius."
"How badly did you hurt him?" He asked, in a light way though still knowing the question was serious. Most people would be concerned hearing someone just tried to mug their friend, but he knew she could take care of herself. "Would you like some ice to put on it?" He asked her. He still was concerned about the bruise, even if she can take care of herself.
"Fixing his organ? What happened to it?" Erik took the violin case from her carefully, and opened it up to examine the violin inside. It was an exquisite instrument, and he smiled in admiration and tenderly stroked it with a gentle touch. "Of course… I’ll do my best." He looked up at her. "Your brother has excellent taste, from what I can tell so far…" He hasn’t gotten to play the instrument, but he trusts it would live up to his expectations.
