Book Lovers Tag
so Sarah made this tag and since I'm in the Book Lovers Network I thought I'd do it:
1. Favourite childhood book(s)
I used to read these fairy books and I can't remember what they were called but I had like 50 of them... They were adorable, though.
2. Why did you start reading?
My mum always made me read before I went to sleep so I got in the habit of it and I've always liked reading so I did it for fun.
3. Which book made you realise you loved reading?
I don't think there's one defining book... If I had to chose, though, it would probably be 'The IT Girl Prequel' because it made me realise that I could be part of a completely different world when reading.
4.What is your preferred genre?
I will literally read anything as long as it has some sort of romance in it. I find relationships very entertaining so I like reading about them. Without it I just find the book dull...
5. Preferred author?
Maggie Steifvater is definitely my favourite. I love that she alternates perspectives and she creates such realistic worlds. The Scorpio Races is my favourite book by her.
6. Where do you like to read?
I almost always read on my bed but I like reading if I'm travelling somewhere in the car or on the train.
7. First full series of books you read?
The Twilight saga... I know it's rather predictable but it's what made me start reading Young Adult novels. I have all the films, too... woops.
8. Have you always finished books, if not, which ones?
I didn't finish this really creepy book called "He's after me" or something like that. Apart from that, I always do because I read books pretty fast.
9. Do you own books you've never read?
Yes... I don't have time to read at the moment because I have so much work to do for my art exam.. But hopefully I'll read them soon.
10. Do you enjoy the books you're assigned at school?
Mostly, yes. There was one about a bird that I absolutely hated (Kestel for a Knave of something) but I liked To Kill a Mockingbird and The Crucible is tolerable...
11. Music or no music?
Most of the time, no music. If I'm in a busy place I'll listen to something I can zone out to but, at home, it's silent.
12. What are you reading at the moment or what are you going to read?
I'm re-reading the Crucible and doing a Controlled Assessment on To Kill a Mockingbird but I want to read "Teardrop" by Lauren Kate because I liked the Fallen books and I got for Christmas.
