Welp, Touya almost died. Again.
It happened while he was wandering through Cerulean - a man on a mission. He stopped at every fountain he encountered along the way, dropping a coin into it and making a wish. Then he waited, and when the wish failed to come true, he fished his coin back out while mentally marking the fountain as NOT being magical. Then he’d resume his trek to the next fountain.
Everything was fine until the most recent experiment. After his wish failed to materialize and he leaned across the marble rim of the fountain to reclaim his coin, something went terribly wrong. And he slipped. And he fell. And he splashed into the water. And... he almost died...
...okay, so maybe the fountain was really shallow and he didn’t actually almost die. But man, if being a huge drama queen could kill, Touya would have almost died.
Right now he was sitting on the very same rim that betrayed him, having climbed out of the water. The ground around him was covered in dark, damp patches, telling a silent story of all the violent splashes occurring moments prior. The young man was dripping all over the place, looking miserable as he awkwardly held his arms away from his body. The sensation of damp cloth clinging to his skin when he wasn’t prepared for it was the worst.
He urged the sun to dry him faster.
