What inspires you and motivates you? My inspiration and motivation comes from many different places. My motivation comes mostly from my family. My kids are the most important thing in my life and making sure that I succeed for them is my motivation. My inspiration comes from anywhere I can get it. (laughs) Listening to a new style of music, listening to older music, listening to the sounds of nature. I try to make music with everything in life and I am inspired by it all. What's the best part about what you do? The best part about what I do is the passion and love for music in general. Being able to do something that I love as a career. What new projects are you working on? I have been working with Lil Jon & DJ Paul from Three 6 Mafia recently. These projects will definitely be something to look out for in the near future. Also, there will be more music coming from JayCeeOh, Ruen & I, which will be coming out very shortly. Also, I have been working with a singer, Chelsea Chandler. We have 4 or 5 songs that we are working on with a couple of friends of mine. I am most excited about the projects with her because I haven't worked with very many singers, especially ones with her talent. Does a specific state of mind or mood generate your best work? I actually get a lot of my ideas for my work while driving. I am usually most at peace during that time, and my mind isn't racing a million miles a minute. So, I record my ideas and then when I have time, I will put them down and start creating. What can we expect from you in the near future? I haven't put out a bootleg pack in a while, so expect that VERY soon. Something special for my fans and other DJs to enjoy. Also, Ruen & I have a little something cooked up that will be coming out on a label that is run by a DJ that I have looked up to for years.
