mainly i think taylor's management was probably involved too, they maybe even approaced modest in the first place. if you think about it, it all works out perfectly for taylor - she just releasedredand is about to go on a world tour. this is an ideal time for a bit more publicity. so maybe her management and the boys management made a deal that she could be seen with one of the boys while they were in new york, and modest thought 'perfect, another high profile celebrity woman to link harry to so no one will suspect he is gay' and volunteered haz, then i guess it spirallled a bit.
