-> Botan is a chipper young woman living on her own in a small farm town. She grew up on a similar farm in a much smaller town but has since set out on her own. If she's not at home, you can probably find her down by the water, swimming or reading on a nearby bench if the weather's nice. She's easy going and loves to meet new people.
Botan has a strawberry field on her property, which she allows people to come pick their own berries. It's a charming plot and she likes the sense of community it brings to have friends spending the day making their own berry baskets.
In addition to the strawberries, Botan's primary source of income is in the jams she makes. Strawberry is of course her signature but she also makes other flavors using stock from local growers, like plum and peach, depending on the season. She packs them in cute jars with bows and printed cloth covers.
You can buy from the stand at her house or find her at local markets where she'll have samples to try. She's good at drawing a crowd with her bubbly personality. She might also have some strawberry sandos for sale.
In addition to the berry field, she has a small flock of hens that wander the property and a very spoiled cat named Moka. Other people's barn cats know they can come to Botan for extra pets but that Moka is the boss of the farm. She also has flowers lining her house, growing in all sorts of colors.
She has a small paddle boat that she likes to take out on the nearby lake to spend the day and while she knows how to fish, it's not necessarily something she enjoys.
