I wanted to draw Ale meeting Hastur, but did that really happen?
Was that truly a daydream?
This was really fun to make! This is based off the art that @angy-brows made where Hastur used a dialogue that Jax said from TADC, and it really inspired me to reuse that scene where he said that to Ale specifically. Why? Ale is sensitive to his own legacy, and his own purpose in the cult in spite of the facade he puts up in being 'happy', always on the verge of crashing out at anyone who keeps bothering him and yet forcing it deeper down in order to fulfill his purpose as a disciple and second in command to the Lamb. Which is why Hastur's words of telling Ale he will be forgotten and not be someone worth remembering really get to him, because from the start- in spite of his position and assurance as a disciple/someone that is respected and beloved, how could he truly believe that- when he doesn't think the same of himself?
I'll definitely flesh this comic out whenever I have the energy and time though~
