misunderstood-rabbit fell in the Abyss
Sitting alone, the noirette sat on the murky waters of the Abyss, her small thin frame enveloped in the darkness and the golden flecks that surrounded her, providing the only sense of light that could possibly resemble the sun of the human world. There was nothing she could do -- she was utterly helpless. Those images of the Tragedy -- that massacre, her daughter's death, constantly replaying like a broken film on a camera in her mind. Lacie was so tempted to scream, to just fall apart and give up, wishing at this very moment that she had never been born. She had no salvation -- she was alone. Just as she had always been before, right? There was no way she could revive her daughter...not after what had happened...
Off in the distance, that's when she heard it. Was it...footsteps? Alarmed, the noirette stood hurriedly, and rushed to the source. Why was there someone else in the Abyss with her? It was a bit tiring, honestly, to help those out of the Abyss, but...they didn't belong here. She did; it was her punishment.
"Excuse me Miss, but are you--"
Red eyes widened as Lacie froze in her tracks, her breath caught in her throat. There, before her, was the girl that she wished to hold in her arms -- glimmering amethyst eyes, long brown hair.
Alice.
"A...Alice...?"
