4. Last time I cried and why

Well this is embarrassing— Just the other day actually. It didn’t last for very long but since I’ve had a pretty bad picking compulsion I tend to spend a lot of time in front of mirrors basically ripping up my skin which has caused a lot of scarring. But so my parents had ended up catching me and made a big fuss and I felt humiliated and awful so I sort of had a break down about it.

I’m very easily amused? Like I genuinely enjoy a lot of things TV show, movie, and music-wise, which comes as sort of a pro and a con because on one hand I get to thoroughly enjoy a lot of things but on the other hand sometimes some of the things you like can get hated by A LOT of people, so. Yeah.

To the Class of 2013

You're graduating tomorrow; the night before my graduation I stayed up until 5 talking with an old friend and I wrote this poem and I couldn't believe how well I captured everything that I felt was happening. 

The world is passing 

and time is turning. No one notices as growing up happens slowly and age is not merely a wrinkled banner on your face. It is the accumulation of memories spread over a lifetime of laughter and broken hearts.

But we notice now the change when everyone dresses for senior prom and gets ready to receive their diplomas.

This is normal, I say to myself as I zip my white gown and adjust the matching hat, leaving the tassel on the left. Everyone goes through this.

Four years now is a long-time; four years yesterday was five minutes and four years tomorrow is a lifetime of experiences.

Parents will be crying, kids will be playing and we will be waiting.
