This is the thing about Max - people think he's a kind of easy mark, he's just a 'gutless coward', and as soon as you've got one over on him you've got him. But he often hits back. He often hits back harder - and maybe worse than you were expecting, and worse than you're prepared to go. This is another reason I don't agree with the 'insecure' thing about Max - or not quite in the way people seem to use it, or that's not all of it, or something. Wrestlers act like one good hit on Max, 'exposing' him, and he'll crumble - and if he was just insecure it feels like that might be true. But he keeps going. He's got legs. He's determined. He's so wonderful, he's like a wolf or a hyena. Stamina, even if they don't bring something down with the first bite. The rabbit runs faster, but the wolf runs longer.

Max said a lot of things on Wednesday, and I don't know if he was projecting about all of them...but I do feel like maybe 'no-one respects you' is something he's feeling in-kayfabe at the moment.
