Thanks for the questions! 😁 I think I’ll make this interesting and split the questions between a few of my ships. I’ll give Amaya the extra one since I feel like I haven’t given them a lot of spotlight in a while.

1. What do you think is the appeal of their dynamic?
I think the appeal to their dynamic is just how well their personalities would complement each other. Amber is an extroverted, fun-loving and flamboyant person while Anaya is more reserved and professional. This could make for interactions like Amber teasing Anaya when she’s in a serious mood and Anaya pretending to be annoyed by it around others but secretly being amused by it.
3. Is their relationship related in any form to their individual character arcs?
I’d say yes. After losing much in Shinnok’s invasion of Edenia, Anaya felt like her career was all she had, but in addition to learning to take risks when push comes to shove by teaming up with Mileena against Onaga’s forces, growing close to someone as upbeat as Amber adds some light to her life and makes her realize she still has people around she can consider family. (Aside from her griffon)
On the other hand, Amber would have a partner who accepts her identity and who she can be more vulnerable with. Anaya could help to motivate Amber like she motivate others. They would also have an understanding of each other’s feeling of responsibility, which will be explained more in the next response.
30- In what ways do they inspire one another?
Anaya would inspire and further Amber’s motivation to work closely with Edenia’s defenders so she can help just as much as the others in times of conflict while still doing what she loves. As before, Amber was insecure of the fact that she wasn’t as much of a fighter as other Edenian Resistance members. Amber would also inspire Anaya with how she is able to give people hope in desperate times.

37- What is the base on which their relationship is built on?
Ok, moving on from wholesome couple to evil couple lmao. Asbestos and Linae’s relationship was built on their disdain for their respective families they both became the black sheep of due to their crimes. It is what brought them closer together in a twisted way and let them develop their relationship.
2. How do they weaken and strengthen each other?
They strengthen each other by building off of their differences in methods and values. Asbestos intimidates others and earns himself a fearsome reputation to expand his criminal empire and satisfy his ego, while Linae takes a more cunning approach by using her communication and manipulation skills to help them get away with their criminal deeds and reap the benefits of them.
The weaknesses of their relationship would show when it comes to Saphera however. Asbestos wants to let go of her to remove her as a loose end and maintain his reputation while Linae would want to manipulate her back into being among them to fulfill her selfish desire to have Saphera loyal to her. This would cause some cracks to show in how harmonious they’d work together.

8. Are they naturally compatible or do they make an effort to try and understand the other?
I believe the latter is more accurate, while Kung Lao grew up around many people he is close to, Quartz grew up completely on her own and is initially more closed off compared to him. However, once they do grow closer and understand each other more, it lets them see just how similar they are. They both care about those around them and just want to live a more peaceful life after fighting to gain that for others.
20- How did the relationship change them individually?
Their relationship has helped Quartz become more open to trusting and accepting help from others after she was made to believe her whole life would just be fighting by herself for survival everyday. Meanwhile, Kung Lao grows more confident in his own goals aside from trying to live up to his ancestor’s name after having someone who understands and shares them.
