Easter Offensive, 1972 by Linh Yoshimura Via Flickr: 1972 – An LTV A-7 Corsair II of Attack Squadron #22 [VA-22] is ready to launch from the deck of USS Coral Sea (CVA-43), armed with Mk-82 standard bombs. The USS Coral Sea was then operating off the Vietnam Coast to support military operations during Easter Offensive. Notice, the squadron completed six combat deployments during the Vietnam War, where it participated in Operation Pocket Money.
