like... what was filoni thinking. imagine if it had been one of the younglings from the youngling arc instead. it would’ve been filling in a gap, not contradicting existing material. it would’ve been continuing the story of a character from the show the bad batch is spun off of, not altering the story of a character from an entirely different show. it would’ve been so much better.
