quick coco pommel!

i’m still experimenting with this new style and ran into a snag here! i want every pony to have just one border color for every part of them including hair, coat, eyes, etc. but i wasn’t sure what to do for coco’s collar and cravat! so i decided i could use a second border color since it’s an accessory :p

pls give feedback!!!! i’m still new to this style and i’m trying to hone it in :3

i’m trying to make the whole wavelengths gang with the least amount of colors i can! my color palette so far has colors i’ve used to draw twilight and sunset, so i reused a lot of those colors and only added five more ! i’m hoping i can reuse the blues for minuette :3

i posted most of them individually but here’s them all together! i love wavelengths did you know thag

so i post a lot ab wavelengths but i haven’t really explained the story. it’s a series of 13 fics (so far) set in an alternate timeline with no sonic rainboom and where sunset shimmer never left celestia. it also takes place entirely before the return on nightmare moon! broadly it shows sunset redeeming herself and becoming a better pony with good friends but then dealing with her guilt complex over her past, which comes into conflict with her friends. in the background celestia is trying to make sure sunset and her friends are able to wield the elements of harmony when nmm returns.

oh and the entire thing takes place within a cutie remark timeline so like, we already know they’re doomed (celestia learns this in story 8)

yeah it’s really good and i’ve been obsessed for months now. these ponies are the main friend group!

so with moon dancer done, i’ve done it! i’ve drawn the whole gang from wavelengths using a limited color palette!! i still need to draw sunny and twi but i already have their colors!!! factored in!!!!

maybe next time i should draw a more recognizable group of ponies like. idk. the mane 6 BAHSHDBF

i was originally just gonna have each pony have a blank expression but i knew i couldn’t have minuette not have a huge smile. and then i realized this is wavelengths moony. ain’t no way she’s NOT looking like a snarky bitch (/pos)

i’m very proud with how this one turned out! she might be my fav so far :333

CHEERILEE I LOVE CHEERILEE SHES MY FAV TEEHEE (she’s the reason i started reading wl in the first place) on yeah and RARA TOO lol

i struggled a lot with coloring. i had to add 3 new colors for BOTH of them (thankfully i was able to reuse the sunset eye/coco hair color!). i might redo twi to use cheerilee coat color but we’ll see!
