“hey, hey, hey,” spills from his mouth as he stumbles up to them — clearly tipsy, especially smiley, and with a deck of cards held fanned in his hand. on most occasions, his tricks are quickly turned away, but everyone seems in good spirits today. maybe it’s just the booze, but hey. that’s showbiz. “pick a card. i swear this is gonna blow your mind, man.”

JOIN YOUR FELLOW TENANTS FOR A NIGHT UNDER THE STARS...

summer has come to an end, and with that comes one of landlady insuk’s signature seasonal parties. the rooftop is decked out in twinkle lights and summery decor, and an array of delicious barbecue, fresh roasted veggies, and — of course —booze is laid out on a picnic table. for entertainment, there’s a crappy old projector for late-night movie viewing, and a tiny stage setup for any and all impromptu performances. this is a chance for new arrivals to get to know their housemates better, and for long-term stays to reconnect and let loose. and who could say no to a free home-cooked meal, right?

this event will last from 9.3 - 9.10, though canonically, it’s all taking place in one night, and any threads started can definitely be continued past that date. basically, it’s just a fun end-of-summer party that all the tenants are invited to attend, which gives your muse a chance to talk to muses they haven’t yet! there’s a ton of food, lots of alcohol, and all sorts of opportunity for artistic muses to show off their talents to their housemates.
