“it was all one big mistake...
she didn’t mean to, no.
oh boyoung wasn’t the type to wreak havoc: a straight O student, on student council and a member of various clubs, with a promising summer internship at the ministry. she’s not irresponsible, godric no— but when the headmaster had declined her request for a time turner (the tight schedule was beginning to get to her), oh boyoung found herself pulling more and more all-nighters.
she didn’t mean to fall asleep as she was mixing in the rose thorns and peppermint (the potions club were practicing variations of love potions— just a fun exercise to distract from the monotonous school schedule, they thought), and she sure as heck didn’t mean to distractedly pour the finished mix into the batter for the baking club’s cupcakes when she startled awake.
and that would be fine and all, if that batter wasn’t meant for yosul’s annual commencement dinner party, held every april 1st since 1959.
everything was running smoothly, until the desserts were rolled out on the gold-finished pastry carts. one bite, and the eater suddenly found themselves inexplicably obsessed in love with the first person they happened to lay their eyes on.
and oh boyoung? she found herself conveniently far away from the party the moment she’d realized that her love potions were dumped into the wrong cauldron.
what? there’s no way she’d lose out on her summer internship.”

ic guidelines:
yosul’s annual commencement party is held every year in the grand dining hall, which for the evening is transformed into a spacious venue for dinner and drinks (although alcohol is charmed to bubble up and combust in the drinker’s face if the drinker is underage— first to third years, stick to your virgin daiquiris).
the party is not just for staff and students, but alumni as well.
black-tie event, although not strictly. dinner is served at 6 pm.
(the specific love potion used has a life-span that is broken once the clock strikes midnight; the side-effects? sheer embarrassment).

sign-ups close monday july 15th at 10 am. the pairings will be posted that same evening (if you miss these dates, please contact me and we can figure something out!).
this site-wide event can be played out until the end of july. any form of posts is fair game! (i.e: you don’t have to only para, you can also script for rapid fire or send inbox messages etc.)
