Children are the most enthusiastic as they have holiday from school, they love playing out, bursting crackers, eating sweets, lighting lamps, drawing rangoli. Three things to bring out the best this Deepawali with your child. ✨ 🎆Use more of DO'S than DONT'S. Tell them what they SHOULD DO rather than telling them what they SHOULD NOT DO. *Keep it positive. *Direct them what they should do. Instructions should be short and clear. Tell them in advance what do you expect. Eg. Wear your shoes and go out while you play outside. Don't nag/ argue with your child while he is already ready and excited to something. Also give reason why he is not going out without shoes. ✨ 🎆INVOLVE: Involve them in whatever you do. With toddler around it's difficult for him to not spoil the rangoli. If he/ she like painting. Do some dabbing on paper and decorate that and use it as your rangoli. Use flowers, rice paste mixed with food colours. Let a preschooler help you lit Diya in the house. Give them candle to lit atleast 1 diya while you are present around. If you give one yourself, the child feels better and has satisfied his curiosity and eagerness. Create some cards along with the child and give them to friends, family who visits you or your neighbors. ✨ 🎆ENLIGHTEN :Celebrating these festivals we are only passing our tradition to gen next. Children are so VIBRANT and each one of them has a spark within. Lets Enlighten them, as parents let's give them the best experiences to grow.
