Ohhhh these two train men are going to have a TIME when they see the children of light going to Eden in droves just to die before reaching the top. Hand in hand smiling and honking as they go to navigate the storm, only to the pelted by unforgiving crimson rain while trying to save their stone brethren. Pretty metal that their goal is to save as many as they can before themselves succumbing to the storm, only to come back from the light as a fresh little sky kid.
How do you think the twins would handle all that? Thanks for reading, and your work has invigorated my love for sky AND pokemon <3
So I've kinda answered a similar question to this here, I hope it kinda explains the situation
But yea, they're glad that the kids are okay in the end, but it doesn't mean that they're not traumatized by knowing what they're going through and them thinking that it's all so normal and casual thing to do.
But the part where you mentioned 'saving their brethren' actually is a pretty interesting way to word it. Ingo and Emmet would feel like these kids are doing all they can to save other sky kids, but after hearing a certain explanation about the whole ordeal from other sky kid, these fascinations would soon grow to pity.
Some of the kids are clueless about the actual grim behind their weekly activity, some grow rather depressed and lost about it, really doesn't need much than these to make the two more determined in 'saving' these children.
