Back from watching #Glass at my local #VueCinema (@vue) and considering most of the 'reviews' I've seen for it, I guess I'm going against the grain, as I enjoyed the movie. It's more a psychological slow burn of a movie than anything like the comic superhero fayre we've been used to for the last few years, which was one of the things I liked about it. It also reminded me of #10CloverfieldLane with its similar slow burn pacing, which I also liked. There's obviously also a lot of elements from #Unbreakable and #Split in this film, including some of the supporting characters from both making an appearance, such as Elijah's mother, David's son Joseph and Casey from 'Split', so it's definitely worthwhile watching both of those before going in to see 'Glass' just so you'll be able to pick up on some of the little details throughout the movie. I was surprised to see some, what I assumed were deleted scenes, used in flashbacks. It seemed to tie things up by the end but unfortunately the ending might not live up to some people's expectations, which is probably where most of the ire comes from, but it does tease potentially more stories in this movie universe if #MNightShyamalan ever wanted to go back to it again. 'Glass' is a grounded superhero movie that was enjoyable as long as you don't go in expecting anything like something from the #MCU etc. (at Vue) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bs_uImrBlM6/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=61lhsj5mjzgl
