Day 3: Wind
Doare, băiete, zise el moale. Oh, da. Alegerea... a durut întotdeauna. Şi va durea mereu. Ştiu.
Urzeala tronurilor - George R. R. Martin
In September of 2010, charity: water reached its goal of raising $1.7 million to give every Bayaka person living in the Central African Republic clean water. But when they tried drilling in the village of Moale, they failed to reach water. At that point, charity: water didn't just say "too bad, so sad!"--they promised to be back, and on July 20th, after drilling 24 stories deep underground, they finished a clean water well in Moale. Watch the video to see what happened.
"We don't give up easy." --Jim Hocking, a major force for change in the Central African Republic, never without his hat. (Seriously, I met him in December at the 'charity: ball' and he was still wearing that hat.)
