Got my mother to join me in a rewatch of all The Hunger Games films. Unfortunately for her, she had to deal with my running commentary over what scenes were done better in the books and what choices were made to symbolise what and no end of deep analysis into each of the characters.

What can I say! Even after all these years, this series is still my absolute favourite series of all time. Suzanne Collins has not let me down yet and I'm so looking forward to seeing Sunrise On The Reaping in cinema!

My THG Thoughts

I'm almost done with Mockingjay and I just found out there's going to be a split of the third book into two movies. I really hope they don't rush Catching Fire and literally split up Mockingjay. I would love them to use both books and carry a bit of Catching Fire into the two parter because I feel like they might rush everything just to break down a book. So yeah if that makes sense, that's what I want to see happen. I don't think Mockinjaw needs two parts but hopefully they work on it and make it flow. I loved the first movie (even the small bits they "left  out") and it got me into the books but now I do have high expectations because of that. So let's hope this goes well. -crosses fingers-
