Mod Bunni here! We’ve been getting a lot of asked on this blog related to the most recent chapter and we are so so flattered!
However, many of them are...disturbingly related to the violent aspects of the installation and while Mod R and I aren't uncomfortable talking about such a topic, it has been brought up in excess. Many people asking for heavy details or other such things-
Our au isn’t a gorefic, and so we don’t want the majority of our blog to be so. Again, we are EXTREMELY thankful that people enjoy this au! But it’s a little haunting to have so many messages in the inbox that seem exceptionally interested in the nitty-gritty of that one particular scene.
I also want to clarify: That particular scene was one of horror. It was not meant to be enjoyed as though it were not so. Mod R and I both love the psychological horror genre (her with movies, me with games) which is why we wanted to implement some heavy horror elements in our au. We do not take any kind of pleasure in these scenes besides the fun in researching and freaking out friends- the actual actions we came up with disturbed both of us rather heavily when not talking from a medical standpoint.
As such, we will no longer be answering any asks relating to the gore elements of the fic. There may be some exceptions, but we will both decide what we are comfortable with.
I’m very sorry if the most recent installment made any readers believe this fic was going to be like Higurashi or Corpse Party, but that wasn’t what we were going for. We both hope readers will still enjoy our chapters anyway!
Also: because of this burnout with the most recent chapter, we will be taking a small break from discussing or writing the au. We both need some time to catch up on personal life things anyway, and this transition period between chapters is the perfect moment. Hope to come back brighter and better than ever!
